The watch features a shock-resistant structure with its metal bezel and glass fibre-reinforced resin case.Enhanced material strength enabled further slimming of the exterior while still satisfying the G-SHOCK criteria for shock resistance to achieve a mid-sized form that makes coordinating easy. Forging and round hairline finishes applied to the top surface give the watch a sophisticated textural look. At 9 o’clock in GShock GMA-S2100 design accent of sawn line finish is applied, which gives a magnetic look.

In 2019, the GA-2100 was developed to expand the possibilities of toughness and analogue timekeeping. The dial, flattened for slimness, is treated with ion plating color and mirrored indexes to add shimmery depth.

Inheriting the core principles of both the iconic DW-5000 and AW-500, the GA-2100 has created its own identity which has become an iconic new case shape for the brand. Forged in stainless steel with rounded hairline finish, the strong bezel says super style all the way.
