Personally I prefer my HeroQuest to be kept simple, but there is only so much that can be printed onto a card. This maybe was inevitable. Anyways, getting off topic a bit! Navigate through a dark labyrinth of waterways, an underground city, and more perilous locations. But be wary—for Zargon’s forces grow ever stronger with the rise of the Dread Moon! Immerse yourself in the adventure with 10 daring quests, stunning artwork, 29 detailed miniatures, and full-color tiles. (Requires HeroQuest Game System to play. Sold separately.) This fantasy game for adults and teens has limitless replayability, and you can also create your own quests and stories. Gather friends together for an exciting night of tabletop gameplay in a battle of good and evil. The game is for 2-5 players, ages 14+. One thing I find particularly interesting about the Mercenaries is the fact that the Cadre of the Raven’s Veil isn’t mentioned in the rules portion of the Quest Book, nor is it a part of the story at the beginning, during Mentor’s message. The cards and Quest Book in this fantasy-filled HeroQuest expansion feature artwork that immerses you in the perilous adventure The first Specter will cast Channel Dread on the Rogue Heir. There is 1 monster next to the Specter, so we’ll add 1 to the roll of 1, making that 2. The Rogue Heir is safe for now. The Specter will float through the bookshelf to safety on the other side.I can already see at this point that this will be a difficult encounter for the Heroes. Now it’s Zargon’s Turn! Who could this new hero be? The speculation has begun. The consensus that I think most have agreed on so far, is that this is an alternate version of the Guardian Knight that was previously released in limited quantity. I know the community has been really excited and hyped up about Rise of the Dread Moon, and although we are thrilled to have more details about the expansion, I can’t help but feel bad about the way it’s happened.
