Also, I wanted to know if using REW on my PC + a DAC (even the Motu would be good enough I think?) would be better (or similar) to using a MiniDSP? Does anyone know if using the Motu and ECM8000 will work and if the process will be different to just getting a UMIK-1? I would like to start benefit from tweaking my HiFi HTPC stereo system using REW but I was wondering if I could get some advice please? I had been using the M-Audio C400 for many years and moved last month to the Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 (3rd Gen). Despite my deep research and multiple troubleshooting I could not depend on it due to drop outs or the mic input just ceasing to work in a zoom meeting so I returned it.
